Took the hardtop off the Miata (with some help from fellow Opponaut Jake), and this was the least in the way place for it to live.
Meanwhile, chaos reigns in my entryway:
Living in a downtown apartment has its drawbacks, but being two blocks from my office is too convenient. I love walking to work and being able to walk home for lunch.

I know that feel dude, I have a stack of tires behind my bathroom door because it’s literally the only open space in my tiny little apartment. Made for an interesting conversation with the landlord when he came by to showcase the apartment to potential future tenants.

You need an old 50s Jeep grille with working lights! It should go on the brown wall between the window and book shelve.

Ah, the life of a single guy. Good times :)

Being single looks so...freeing lol

I’m planning on disguising my autocross tires as a couple of tables when I get them.

I have a very firm “car parts aren’t furniture or decoration” rule. Calling the hardtop “decor” was definitely sarcasm, lol.

Fine...it’s not decor then, you’re just storing it there until you get a Jeep

Single life is nice, indeed.
I have a spare grille from the W202 C43 I had ages ago as a wall decoration. It’s not worth a lot, and I can’t exactly throw it away, so why not?

Part of me misses those days. Tires stacked in the living room, spare differential on the kitchen floor, finding grease in the strangest places inside.

Do I spy aftermarket springs on Koni shocks and some Miata sway bars?

Yep. Might be stock springs on the Konis. I’ve got AFCO double adjustables and stiff springs on the car.
